Mac Young is a Boston-based actor and scenic designer.

He is a company member with Imaginary Beasts (Macbett, Crazy Locomotive, Moliére Squared), and an Artistic Associate with Whistler in the Dark theatre co. (Fen, Dogg's Hamlet/Cahoot's Macbeth [IRNE award nominated: Best Production], Tales from Ovid [IRNE award winning, Elliot Norton award nominated: Best Production]). He frequently works with the Huntington Theatre Company. as a scenic carpenter, and recently served as Designer and Master Carpenter for the Vineyard Playhouse's 2011 summer season (Tennessee Williams: Original Acts, Coming2Terms).

Other Boston area acting credits include Bad Jazz with Zeitgeist Theatre co., Aloha Say the Pretty Girls with Holland Productions, and and upcoming production of Romeo and Juliet, at Stoneham Theatre. He also has many credits with the Vineyard Playhouse, mostly Shakespearean in nature. Mac holds a B.A. in Liberal Arts and Theatre from Bennington College.
